No Wembley trip for County keeper

The FA have chosen Villa Park as the venue for the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Play-Off Second Leg game between England and Wales. County keeper Owain fon Williams has been called up to Brian Flynn’s squad for the games against their arch rivals.

Striker Peter Thompson has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for their forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Slovenia and San Marino. ‘Pistol Pete’s inclusion in Nigel Worthington’s squad will see him miss our away trip to Southend United.
